Course ELEC5010 “Introduction to the Design & Implementation of Micro-Systems” Joint class with Kyoto University, Japan and Tsinghua University Visit to Kyoto University | Kyoto, Japan

Course ELEC5010 named “Introduction to the Design & Implementation of Micro-Systems” is a joint class with Kyoto University, Japan and Tsinghua University, China by video conference. Students have to design a micro-system and finish the characterization with their groupmates after fabrication. Each group consisted of students from different universities would present their result during the final presentation. This year, HKUST’s students had an opportunity to visit Kyoto University, meeting their groupmate and working for the final presentation about the design and measurement result of self-designed micro-systems.
