Hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Displays and Opto-Electronics (SKLDOE), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Young Leaders in Displays & PG Workshop 2026 (PGW 2026) welcomed academics from multiple universities and representatives from industry sponsors. The guest list comprised 24 academics and three sponsor representatives in the Opening Ceremony.
 

PGW 2026 was hosted by SKLDOE, HKUST as a platform for exchange among university academics, scholars and industry representatives. The event welcomed academics from multiple institutions and received support from industry sponsors, further strengthening links between academia and industry in displays and related fields.
 

In the Opening Ceremony, HKUST representatives included Conference Honorary Chair Prof. Hoi Sing Kwok, Head of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST Prof. Andrew Poon, Conference Chair Prof. Kristiaan Neyts, and Organizing Committee members Prof. Man Wong, Prof. Man Hoi Wong and Prof. Ken Tseng. Other participating academics joining the Opening Ceremony came from National Taiwan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Guangdong University of Technology, Shenzhen Technology University, Jilin University, Fuzhou University, Shenzhen University, Fudan University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Southeast University.
 

From industry, sponsor representatives included Yu Zeng, Vice President of Sitan Technology and General Manager of Sitan Integration; Zhaoliang Fan of JCOPTIX; and Zhibo Sun of Fast Light Technology. SKLDOE, HKUST extends its appreciation to all participating academics and sponsors for their participation in and support for PGW 2026.
